Football -shaped lambs watch 'The Bill'

Rose is fat.
You know those football, that men chase around on weekends? She is the shap of one. narrow at the front where her little shoulders meet, narrow at the back across the pins of her hips, but big, bulbous and round in the middle where she is filled with milk.
She has to be picked up very gingerly or the slightest sqeeze gives her the squits (or at the very least a fart, promising more to come....)
We have learnt this the hard way, as you can imagine..
Last night we had tons of visitors. Some stayed for dinner. Others dropped kids off for sleepovers or collected some of ours for sleepovers.
We had to tie up both Bootling and Rose cos they kept running through everyones legs, bleating and barking and generally creating havoc.
I became hysterical and collapsed into giggles (which lasted most of the night).
We finally got Rose quietly settled in her bed until she heard the opening music of 'The Bill', then there came such a bevvy of bleating and stamping from inside her wooden box that we had to let her out, whereupon she settled herself firmly on my lap to watch the show.
Our visitors thought this hilarious.
Hysteria was in the air as I said, and we were all gigglilng by this stage.
By the way, I have tried many times to add photos of her to my blog so you can see how adorable she is but am yet to be successful. Such a pity cos she is so cute...
