DianaHeat and snow

Forget heat-waves. Remember snow? Victoria has tossed summer carelessly and ruthlessly aside and ushered in early cold weather. Rain is good. Snow is a little ott.
Two of the 4 orphan lambs have died. Pnumonia.
One is dying as we speak.
The other, a slightly bigger more fiesty little ewe is still going strong. Lisa has been working really hard to look after these aimals and is taking the deaths pretty well, considering.
But I have told her that without the all-essential colostrum the lambs are subject to any infection and even Rose (named from the blonde beauty in Dr. Who) could succumb.
Tis a sad business.
