Stan Lee recently passed away on the 12th of November this year after being rushed to hospital because of a medical emergency earlier that day. Earlier in 2018, Mr. Lee had announced to his fans that he had been battling pneumonia.
He leaves his legacy to Roy Thomas, editor-in-chief at Marvel. Collaborating with several artists and writers, like Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko, Stan was behind the famous superheroes Spider-Man, X-Men, the Hulk, Thor, Iron Man, the Fantastic Four, Black Panther, Ant-Man, Daredevil and Doctor Strange. His contributions to the comic and geek world have changed the lives of so many little children, through to adults today.
Mr. Lee highly enjoyed doing cameos, having appeared in many superhero films that he was the mastermind of. They are sweet little Easter eggs now that Marvel fans can enjoy as part of the legacy Stan leaves behind for us.
