Couple Of Huge Sea Lions Used Someone's Boat For a Joyride, And The Video Is Hilarious

by Damjan

A few days ago, Joshua Phillips took his boat for a ride on Puget Sound off the coast of Washington, and he witnessed something that he wasn’t expecting- a couple of huge sea lions that had the same idea.

The scientific explanation is that they were probably out for a swim when they decided to take a rest, and poor boat, so tiny compared to their size, seemed like a convenient place.

And by the looks of the boat, it wasn’t designed for such weights. The sea lions may grow to 11 feet (3.25 m) in length and reach weights of almost 2,500 pounds (1120 kg).

This is beyond funny.

This is beyond funny.

Phillips couldn’t believe his eyes, but he managed to capture this scene on video:

Someone reported that there was even a third sea lion trying to get on the boat, but his two buddies wouldn’t let him. The boat would certainly sink then.

People that are living near sea lions say that it not so unusual to see them climb on boats to take a rest, and they sink them sometimes.
